Hermes Boj | Caricaturist

Born in Torrevieja, south of Alicante, I have been drawing since school, and in high school, in the most tedious subjects I continued with my drawings being careful not to be seen by the teachers. So when it came time to choose a career, I contemplated no other option than Fine Arts. I have illustrated for orchestras, biographical books, oil portraits, a multitude of landscapes in watercolor, series of engravings in the more traditional way, and in 2014 I tried pastel and inks to make caricatures. In a fast, expressive and very colorful way, the world of caricature finally gave me an infinite number of possibilities; as many as there are people in the world! The clients I have had have found in the caricatures the perfect gift, the souvenir of a vacation, or the funniest entertainment in a celebration, all with an artistic value as a common point that makes it stand out from any industrial object.
